Kroni is built by Erik Nilsen, a developer in Norway. No investors, no content team. One person writes the code, the copy and the support replies.
Who builds Kroni
My name is Erik Nilsen and I run Nilsen Konsult from Norway. I write the code, design the screens, translate the copy and answer support. Email Kroni and you'll hear back from me.
Why Kroni exists
Kroni started with an ordinary problem. The list on the fridge never gets ticked off, and a bank card feels far too big when the real subject is taking out the bin. Kroni makes chores, allowance and rewards simple with no bank card and no real money moving. The balance is a tally your family agrees on at home, and you decide how it gets paid out.
Both parents, one shared view
A family is rarely one adult. You can invite a co-parent who gets exactly the same access to chores, approvals and allowance. Blended families and two homes were in the plan from the first sketch.
What Kroni knows about your child
A child profile needs a first name or nickname and an avatar from a fixed set. A birth year is optional, and only ever the year. The child has no account of their own and is never asked for an email address, a surname or a phone number. There is no marketing tracking, and we do not sell data on.
